Inside the MODE Show 2025

This week, the Tranquility Spa + Salon crew traded our styling chairs for show floors as we headed to the Toronto MODE Show, Canada’s largest and longest-running fashion and accessories trade show. Fun fact: the MODE Show has been a style institution since the 1980s, serving as a launchpad for Canadian designers and a meeting ground for boutiques, brands, and trendsetters across the country. It’s where fashion history gets written… and rewritten each season.

We made our rounds to our favourite Canadian vendors: La Volta, Orange, and Prene Love catching up on all things chic and getting inspired for the months ahead. And oh, friends, Fall 2025 is looking rich + delicious: think cozy knits that feel like a hug, texture-mixing that dares to pair leather with boucle, and rich tones like warm cinnamon and deep navy.

But beyond the sparkle of the season’s “must-haves,” the MODE Show is a beautiful reminder of the community that fuels our industry. It’s the handshake over a display table, the “remember last year?” chats, and the shared passion for bringing beauty and creativity to life.

Of course, no Tranquility outing is complete without a little team bonding! There were belly laughs, a few “should we all get matching bags?” moments, and plenty of inside jokes that might just make it back to the salon floor.
